Shantibarta Foundation organized a Food Distribution & Health Checkup Camp

During that COVID-19 pandemic along with the cyclone “Yaas”, there has been an even more increase in poverty living the underpriviledged without a home, no food to eat, no cloths to wear, no access to proper medication. Hence they are now surviving simply on hope and the “never give up attitude”. This is where NGO’s like Shantibarta Foundation comes to the rescue by organizing medical camps for health checkup, food distribution, cloth donation, skill development and much more to help the deprived get back on their feet and lead a healthy living.

Venue:

The Food Distribution & Health Checkup camp is being organized by Shantibarta Foundation on 3rd June, 2021 at Budha Khali, Kaldwip South 24 parganas.

Purpose of the Event:

Just like the name of the event, it is quite evident that the whole event has to main purposes which are:

1. The 1st purpose of the campaign is to provide & distribute food to the underpriviledged and the needy.
2. The 2nd purpose is to provide medical support and health inspection to those who are less fortunate or those who cannot afford a medical checkup.

The goal of the event is simple, which is to provide as much food and medical support as possible to relieve the poor who are the most affected during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Who will attend?

To make the event successful, a team of Shantibarta Foundation’s finest along with volunteers and a few dignitaries will be present in the event to help see the event goes as per planned. Some of the dignitaries are attending the event are:

• Dr Mithilesh Biswas (Gynaecologist)
• Dr Krishnendu Roy (Donated medicines to the health camp from Kakdwip Hospital)
• Dr Abdus Samim (Orthopaedics)
