Education is the key to unlocking the potential of every individual. However, many talented and hardworking students in our country face financial barriers that prevent them from pursuing their dreams. SHANTIBARTA FOUNDATION (SBF) is a non-profit organization that aims to bridge this gap by providing scholarships to the meritorious students who come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
SBF believes that every student deserves a fair chance to excel in their academic and professional careers. That is why SBF has launched a new scholarship program for the year 2023, which will benefit 10 deserving students from different fields of study. The scholarship amount will cover their tuition fees, books, and other educational expenses for one year.
The selection process for the scholarship was rigorous and transparent. SBF invited applications from the students through its website in December 2022. The applicants had to submit their academic records, financial statements, and a personal statement explaining their goals and aspirations. SBF also conducted interviews with the shortlisted candidates to assess their suitability and motivation.
On 24th March 2023, SBF announced the names of the (Phase – 1 where 3 candidates are selected) selected candidates and handed over the scholarship cheques to them in a ceremony held at its office. The ceremony was attended by the SBF team, the donors, the beneficiaries, and the media. The candidates expressed their gratitude to SBF and its donors for giving them this opportunity and promised to make the best use of it.
One of the highlights of the ceremony was that one of the selected candidates was sponsored by a generous member of SBF, who wished to remain anonymous. This gesture of kindness and generosity inspired everyone present at the event and showed that SBF is not only an organization but also a community of people who care for each other and for society.
SBF congratulates all the selected candidates and wishes them all the best for their future endeavors. SBF also thanks all the donors, supporters, and well-wishers who have made this program possible. SBF hopes to continue this program in the coming years and reach out to more deserving students who need a helping hand to achieve their dreams.
