Our Objective:
Shantibarta Foundation has promised to plant trees in various areas in West Bengal in the future with the goal of greening. Shantibarta Foundation is a registered Non-Profit Organization of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, with the goal of improving the quality of life of the underprivileged in our society. This organization mainly helps
in health, education, social welfare, skill development, counseling, etc. In the past year, our health & awareness workers have provided free services to many
people by organizing campaigns in various remote areas of West Bengal. With everyone’s cooperation, this foundation is determined to reach more people in the future.
An insight of the event:
Akashmani (scientific name: Acacia auriculiformis) is a fast-growing plant of the Fabaceae family, which is used to make furniture. Rabindranath Tagore named this tree
Sonajhuri after being impressed by its yellowish hanging flowers. Indeed, Gold falls from the beautiful flower bed. A visit to Bolpur Shantiniketan will be in vain if you do not visit the Sonajhuri market.
On 21st August 2022, a tree plantation program was taken up in Motra, a small village in the Kandi sub-division of Murshidabad under the initiative of Shantibarta Foundation. About 300 Sonajhuri saplings were planted. At the invitation of volunteer Mohammad Hazratullah, 300 Sonajhuri saplings were planted on about four bighas of land.
Who would say that, in the future this place will transform itself into a tourist spot like the market in Bolpur.
