In light of recent floods that have devastated the Bhutni area in the Manikchak Block of District Malda, Shantibarta Foundation stands in solidarity with flood-affected communities in Malda. On October 8, 2024, a medical camp was organized and relief materials were distributed to flood victims. Essential medicines were distributed free of cost as per Doctor’s advice. The camp was also aimed to educate the local community on disease prevention particularly in the wake of floods.
Relief food materials including puffed rice, sugar, biscuits, peanut etc were distributed to 150 flood victims. We extend heartfelt gratitude to all who supported this endeavor.
